LAW and Legal Aid Partnership - One Hour General Credit CLE Available

“Thank you to everyone who participated in LAW's Community Relations Committee's fundraiser for Legal Aid Society of Middle TN and the Cumberlands last fall.

LAW continues its partnership with LAS this winter and spring to assist at pro bono legal clinics!

Have you been reluctant to volunteer at LAS legal clinics because you are concerned you will not know all the answers? If your answer is "yes," quash those concerns! The program is primarily geared towards you!

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Noon, the Community Relations Committee will host a CLE to provide training, background information, real examples and scenarios, and strategy for volunteering at a Legal Aid Clinic. The first legal clinic will be in February, and the next will be in April (dates to be provided).

The bottom line is to sign up for the training, take the mystery and unknown out of pro bono volunteering, and help Legal Aid further its mission!”
