The Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival is getting closer to its decade-long quest to plant 1,000 Japanese cherry trees in Nashville. 800 cherry trees planted have been planted in the last eight years.  You can read  more information on the event here:   http://www.nashvillecherryblossomfestival.org/ .

LAW is going to work at the Festival as a group.  LAW members are going to sign up for the 1:30 - 5:30 pm slot. There are multiple time frames for volunteering, and you can sign up for any time you like. Minor children may participate as long as a parent or guardian over the age of  18 executes a release and waiver. Pets on leashes are welcome; however, they are not allowed to ride the Metro Shuttle if you park at Nissan Stadium.

Please let Tracy Alcock know if you want to volunteer.  Tracy.Alcock@tn.gov. She will add your name to the LAW team and sign everyone up together.
