Established in 1977 by Lawyers’ Association for Women founder Susan McGannon, the New Admittees’ Breakfast has grown to become one of LAW’s signature events and a major annual gathering of notable figures in the Nashville legal community. Among the 300+ attendees every year are Tennessee Supreme Court Justices, other members of the state and local judiciary, local bar dignitaries, elected officials, and members of LAW.

This year, the Breakfast will be held at Nissan Stadium on November 3rd from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., immediately before the Tennessee Supreme Court swears in applicants who successfully passed the February and July 2026 Tennessee Bar Exams. The swearing in ceremony will also be held at Nissan Stadium. Thanks to the generosity of its sponsors, the Breakfast has been free for these new bar admittees for the past 48 years. LAW hopes your generosity will help carry on this tradition for the 49th New Admittees’ Breakfast.
