The discussion will also provide a basic overview of the parole process\, a view of current community partners in the movement to help vulnerable incarcerated people\, and information on how LAW members can help. Panelists include Ben Raybin (Raybin & Weissman)\, Dawn Harrington (FreeHearts)\, Erica Duggan (Choosing Justice Initiative)\, and Eric Alexander (Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth). \nLAW’s annual Holiday Mixer will immediately follow the CLE programming\, at 5:30pm. \nPlease join us for all or any portion of this exciting event! \nFREE PARKING provided by Bass\, Berry & Sims! \n \n \n \n \n \n To purchase member tickets\, you must be logged in. 								\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Already a member ? \n \n \n \n \n Login Here \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Not a member ? \n \n \n \n \n Join Today

SUMMARY:LAW Annual New Admittees' Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:Established in 1977 by LAW founder Susan McGannon\, the New Admittees’ Breakfast is one of LAW’s signature events of the year and an important one for the Nashville Legal Community! Carrying on tradition\, LAW will hold the Breakfast on November 4\, 2025\, the same morning that the Tennessee Supreme Court holds its swearing in ceremonies for the successful bar takers of the 2025 Tennessee Bar Exam. Also per tradition\, the Breakfast is FREE for the New Admittees’ and invited dignitaries. Your registration will help with this 48th New Admittees’ Breakfast a success! \nLAW is honored to be hosting this inspiring event to celebrate the achievements of those entering the legal profession and connect with members of the Tennessee Supreme Court Justices\, other members of the judiciary\, local bar dignitaries\, elected officials\, and LAW members. \nThe plated breakfast includes avocado toast to start\, a classic breakfast entrée\, pastries\, juice\, water\, and coffee. \nTime Between Events\nWe have heard concerns about people getting from the Breakfast to the Millennium Maxwell House for the swearing in ceremony. Grand Hyatt has assured that their valet team is top notch and they will have a full staff to get people on their way quickly when the Breakfast is over. \nParking \nGrand Hyatt-Nashville offers valet parking\, which will be $25 per vehicle. You will be provided a sticker at registration to get the $25 rate and will pay at the valet window when you depart. Also\, there are other self-park lots nearby if you prefer not to valet. \nGeneral Admission – $75 *Reservations are still open\, but dietary restrictions for registrations after 10/24/25 may not be able to be accommodated. \nSponsorship Opportunities\n(commitments due by October 24th to ensure acknowledgment in program materials)\nBridge the Bar Sponsor: Add a New Admittee Option – $75 \nBuy as many of these sponsorships as you want as add ons to your General Admission ticket!\nPromise Sponsor – $500 \nRecognition in the event program and slideshow\nLogo placement on event signage\n(No event tickets included)\nProgress Sponsor – $750 \nRecognition in the event program and slideshow\nLogo placement on event signage\nTwo (2) complimentary tickets to the breakfast ceremony\nPrestige Sponsor – $1\,000 \nRecognition in the event program and slideshow\nLogo placement on event signage\nVerbal acknowledgment during the program\nFour (4) complimentary tickets to the breakfast ceremony\nEmail info@law-nashville.org with any sponsorship related questions.

SUMMARY:Mastering Midlife Health: Physical Factors and Mental Wellbeing for Lawyers
DESCRIPTION:***1 hour of DUAL CLE credit*** \nThis members-only program will be focused on educating women attorneys about managing work-related and other anxiety caused by menopause because\, while menopause is a natural life stage\, the emotional and mental health challenges it brings are often overlooked. The impact is felt in the workplace and all areas of life\, as mental health permeates a person’s day. The goal of the program is to help this population of women attorneys understand the various physical factors affecting them through menopause and the impact of those factors on mental health. This program explores how hormonal changes during menopause can affect mood\, cognition\, and overall well being and how women can navigate this transition with resilience and strength. Our featured speakers bring both clinical expertise and practical strategies: \nDr. Katherine Haney\, a triple board certified physician specializing in menopausal medicine\, will share evidence based insights on the biological and emotional impact of menopause\, while Stephanie Korn\, a personal trainer\, nutrition coach\, and retired nurse\, will highlight the powerful role of mindset\, movement\, and nutrition in supporting mental health during this stage of life. The speakers will also discuss strategies for adapting work-life balance through the menopause process. Together\, they will offer tools\, knowledge\, and encouragement to help women lawyers embrace this transition with confidence and balance while maintaining professionalism. \nThis program is approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit! \nPrecise address information will be emailed to registrants the week before the event.
