Chanellor Anne C. Martin
New Admittees' Breakfast Keynote Speaker
Join LAW in honoring new attorneys on the day they are sworn in by the Tennessee Supreme Court. For over 40 years the New Admittees' Breakfast has been recognized as a signature event in the legal community of Middle Tennessee. It is attended by more than 300 new admittees, judges, local bar dignitaries, and attorneys.
This year, we are honored to have Chancellor Anne C. Martin, Nashville Davidson County Chancery Court, Part II as our keynote speaker. Chancellor Martin was the twentieth president of LAW, serving the organization from 2000-2001.
Chancellor Martin has more than 25 years of experience working in business law as an attorney at Bone McAllester Norton PLLC and Dodson, Parker & Behm, P.C. where she focused her practice on complex litigation and employment law. The Tennessee Supreme Court recently assigned Chancellor Martin to hear cases for the Business Court Docket Pilot Project, which seeks to provide all Tennessee businesses and citizens a specialized forum to hear complex or unique questions of business law, effective November 1, 2019.
Chief Justice Jeff Bivins recently remarked that Chancellor Martin "has fully embraced her role as a judge and has quickly emerged as a leader in the judiciary.”
We know Chancellor Martin will have an inspiring and insightful message for the 2019 New Admittees at this year's breakfast.
