The Breakfast Committee is responsible for contacting and obtaining a speaker for the New Admittees' Breakfast, soliciting law firm and corporate sponsors, working at the registration tables and greeting guests who attend the breakfast. The breakfast is held on the morning that the Tennessee Supreme Court swears the new admittees into the practice of law. The Supreme Court Justices, other members of the judiciary, local bar dignitaries, elected officials, LAW members and the new admittees and their families attend the breakfast, which usually includes 300+ attendees. To many lawyers across the state, the annual New Admittees' Breakfast is LAW's signature event.
The New Admittees' Breakfast for 2010 will be held on November 2, 2010.
